whats the best exhaust for a 1G awd turbo ?

whats the best exhaust for a 1G awd turbo car? i plan on upgrading the turbo probably late this year or after winter. so i think im going to get a 3" all the way through. but i am fairly new to DSMs so what would be the best exhaust ? downpipe high flow cat and muffler the whole thing.

3" is "best," but overkill for probably 90+% of people. Since you don't plan on getting the exhaust until late this year or next year, that gives you plenty of time to read the countless threads on the subject and decide for yourself what will be best for you and your goals.
