Sup guys hey i gotta question...i got a 2g n/t eclipse and im really gettin into modding it out now that i got a new job that pays good an im lookin into throwin a turbo into it and i was wondering if 2g 4g63 pistons would fit in my 420a.. cuz my buddy with a tsi awd says he can get me 2g pistons and 1g rods for dirt cheap if i can...can ya help me out or give me some tips.. (and no i know i should just get a turboed dsm but....what can i say....moms can be a bi***...) THANKS!!

i know their diff engines but i figured since they're both 2.0's that they would be able to swap 4g63 pistons into a 420a

According to data on the net:

4G63:
Bore: 3.35''
Stroke: 3.46''

420A:
Bore: 3.44''
Stroke: 3.24''

Could you get them to fit? Probably. Would it be worth it? Very doubtful. Even if they would fit, they'd probably break easily due to all the machining that'd be required.
