Well it has happened, i have had my new car for about...maybe a week and a half and i am already starting to have problems. I have a feeling its going to be a long long long road ahead that i am going to have to travel down. So let me give you a run down of what happened. So i decide that i am going to go visit my friend who i haven't seen in god knows how long. Problem is he lives like 1 hour away, so im on the way i get about maybe 20 miles from my house and guess what my car won't go above 3500 rpm and i can't build boost. So im thinking great i really got something ####ed up this time. So im trying to listen and see if i hear any noise or anything out of the ordinary and it sounds like dirt is pouring through the vents and onto the floor of my car(not a good sound). Then the bad shit happens my car just dies not the electrical and stuff but the engine. I pull over to the side of the freeway and try to crank it over nothing just a whining noise like a lawnmower almost. So i pop the hood and what do i see a cracked timing belt cover with pieces of shredded rubber sticking out. So im guessing my timing belt is snapped and i have a bad feeling something else big is broken too. which sucks but what can you do. So i figure while its in the shop i mights as well get the rebuild done that i have been thinking about since the engine has 122k on the clock. I was thinking 2g pistons with 1g rods what do you guys think i don't plan on making huge power enough that the stock internals can handle but nothing crazy any suggestions on what else you all might think is wrong with the engine and what i should do in the rebuild?

Just keep pluggin away, the first time you romp on a car you despise its worth it. Good luck man.
