Shouldn’t this be “non-performance” or looks forum?

I have no idea why you would do that, as most people do just the opposite (try to stick larger than 16G size wheel into the 16G style housing). What most people call a “20G” is a hybrid, using TD-05 16G with TD-06 compressor wheel and housing. So there isn’t really a true 20G turbo, just about every turbo shop has their own version…

I suppose you can always slap on a 20G housing onto a 16G turbo (using 16G compressor wheel). But my guess would be that this would not be a very efficient combination…

if you want it to look like you have a 20g, then by all means get a 20g

Take a bunch of clay and pile it on your turbo then get a knife and write TD06 on the side of it
