yesterday i was trying to take off the 2 19 mm bolts from the downpipe section which attaches to the O2 housing .... and i cant even budge it... any of you have a solution for this ... and also would i have any trouble with the engine mounts and the 32 mm axle nut .... this is my first time im taking out a engine and i really need some info... please let me know what i need to do before i i take it all out..... i took out the intake radiator, fuel rail, all piping and most of the electrical components... i read somwhere that you need to take of the power steering and alternator out... it doesnt seem that way to me it looks like it would come all out in one piece with the engine

To remove any exhaust bolts I would recommend useing air tools or a breaker bar with an extension. You could also try some penatrating oil.
Also you dont need to remove the axle bolts to pull the engine.

Like he said.....use wd40 or something more powerful. Then use a breaker bar and put a cheeter pipe or some type of piping on there for leverage(like a stop sign pole just smaller). I GARUNTEE it will come lose....people just have no idea how much the cheeter pipe works.

The axle nuts are a PITA. You want to heat it with a propane torch, then use a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar with a pipe on the end, and jump up and down on it while someone steps on the brakes.

I would only recommend this if you live in an area where they salt the roads. Otherwise its not necessary. An again removing the axles isn't necessary to remove the motor.

ok when you say its not necessary to remove the axle nuts... does this mean that there is a safety bar or something you cn remove instead or do you mean you have to unbolt the transmission first and then take out the engine

You don't have to remove the axles. Unbolt the two bolts that hold the top side of the steering knuckle to the strut, turn the wheel all the way to the other side, and you can flop the axle out of the transmission.

Make sure to unbolt the carrier bearing first on the driver's side, and keep in mind that the passenger's side has a snap ring holding it in the transmission.

Next time, RTFM.
