Where does the line that connects to the charcoal canister on a 98 eventually route to. It's raining out right now and I was just curious because i'm not going to use this with my Green setup.

Thanks,

It goes from the charcoal canister under the battery to the intake pipe.

Later,

That's what I figured ... thanks for the info. Are you using that on your setup? From what I understand, this is more of an emissions thing than anything else and isn't necessary and might even help my FMIC stay cleaner.

No When I got the cast intake pipe for my mutt it had no inlets for the charcoal canister, line from the valve cover, or stock BCS. I passed emissions w/o the charcoal canister hooked up.

On my 1998 GSX I have the canister on my front bumper. Do we have any links to removal of canister. It's dead weight and only help with the fuel smell. But I do want to keep my EGR valve. Thanks

I do not recommend removing your canister. Once you do it, you must then decide what you are going to do with the vent. You can ether leave it open and smell gas fumes most of the time or plug it up and drive around with pressurized gas tank. Neither one is a good solution… I would recommend keeping it on a street car.

Does this create any sort of vacuum leaks? I think I will just leave mine open and I get any smell, then I will tap into the dejon and reconnect the hose.

Thanks,

Anyone know where the 2 small vacuum lines coming out of charcoal cannister goes? I'm guessing one goes to the purge control solenoid, but where does the other one go? Thanks guys.
