Hey guys, I need some info here. I've got a Garret T3 ball-bearing turbo with a ceramic turbine. I got it from a damaged Skyline GT-S(the single turbo version R33 trim). I currently run a big 16G setup with the following supporting mods:
3K VR4 fuel pump(re-wired)
Hacked MAF
Ported O2 housing
2.5" downpipe
3" exhaust(no cat)
MBC set at 16PSI
Stock injectors
Anyway, has anybody out there used this type of turbo on their DSM's??? I know it spools faster than a non ball-bearing non ceramic turbo, but is there really a significant difference???
What else do I need to get the full potential out of this turbo??
Any comments would be greatly apreciated.
Thanx:thumb:

I wouldnt run over 16-17psi with that ceramic turbine wheel. It will destroy itself. You will be better off just staying with the 16G.

Why will it destroy itself??? A friend of mine has the same turbo on his Skyline GT-S and is running 18-20 PSI. Are ceramic turbines not able to handle high PSI's????
Could you please specify a little more on this topic.
Thanx

It is said that anything over 10psi is not good (at least on there 9.0:1 compression), dont run that for an extended period of time....

(and that comes from many owners of the RB25-DET)

Isnt that a T-25:confused:

you will probly have better results with the 16g.:thumb:

You don't even give us any indication of what compresor and turbine wheels this thing uses, or the A/R's. Without that, who freaking knows?

"I found a turbo. If I slap it on, will I run 10's?"
