I just bought a galant vr4 this weekend, and am cleaning it up a bit, plugs. wires, knn etc. when i pulled the mas up to get to the knn i noticed a hose on the bottom that goes to absolutely nothing, when blowing through it it seems connected/open am i sucking in unmetrered air through this ? is this suppose to go somewhere ?

there r 2 stubbie knobs on the back of the mass, 1 is capped, the other has the hose to nothing on it. please let me know asap .... besides being unmeasured, its also unfiltered

thanks

Those two hose fittings are supposed to go to the valve cover vent and the charcoal cannister. I would think that the one that is plugged off is the one for the VC vent, so you need to either just plug the other one off too, or hook it back up to the charcoal cannister, which is under the back on the firewall.

Thanks,

I ended up capping it, it might be my imagination but i think its running noticebly stronger now.
