  :barf:

Why won't my motor mounts line up properly? I've tried taking them all apart and doing them one by one, ulternating which one starting first,

but the drivers side L-Arm mount won't line up. Also, I've stripped out one of the holes, can I just get a slitley larger diameter self tapping screw?

HELP, HELP, HELP!!!

nah dude, my brackets are fine, and i have 2 already, the problem is that i cant get them to line up 100%, and shit, i got it withing an 8th of an inche, and tried to use the bolts to pull it back over the rest way, and it just stripped out the hole,

im talking about the L arm bolts, on the timeing side of the engine.

so im goung to get slightly larger self tappers, and try to fineout why the arm wont line up 100%

Are you using prothane mounts? Sometimes when you do its very hard to line them all up as they really have no flex in them to adjust for other mounts. However I find it easier to line up the rear/front mounts first. If you are having trouble with the sides then get a HUGE breaker bar and tweak that motor until its in. if thats not the problem and they are way off there may be some other reason, as you know the front and rear mounts can be installed backwards. Good luck,

Austin

its just the factory mounts, and one sided, the drivers side was just off a fraction, enough to stripp out the hole, LOL, but Its just a tiny bit off, ill try to pry it enough to line up right, thanks for the input,
