What next??

I got a 91 laser turbo 5 speed and want a run a little better with it!! I raced it yesterday and best run was 14.9@97 mph i cant get much traction takin of. I got a kn filter air can is gone , and i got a cutout on just after the flex pipe so the exhaust should be good enough for now!
And i got a mbc, what next should i invest in??? Dont want a spend to much money, but like to get down into low 14's!!

What would yopu guys do next?? Is there any free mods??? Thanks!

* remove the Silancer in the MAF
what is your boost at?

* slicks could help with traction too but beware of wheel hop.


thats all i know to do if your straped for cash.. some C16 would couldn't hurt either.



If you have a little green a larger or at least moded SMIC and intake pipes would help too. after all that you should probly be thinking exhaust. dont piss away money buying it twice either just go 3" first time and be done with it.

then your going to need more fuel for more boost and so on once you get 18psi on your stock turbo your going to need to consider a larger turbo etc. but thats probly a long time down the road for you and i know it is for me

Just put in a 190 lph pump.

With a 97 mph trap speed, you should be abvle to run better than 14.9, even in a FWD.

What boost was this at? Was this on pump gas?

You want to be able to turn the boost up, that's where to power is.

Also, make sure the car is in good shape, do the fuel filter, check for boost leaks, etc.
