Boost Creep BAD

Ok so i've got my full 3 In exhaust and on a strong 2nd or 3rd gear pull im boost creepin to around 20 psi VERY BAD, How can I solve or stop this, also i dont have any type of boost controller, would buyin the greddy profec b help this out

A boost controller and a ported O2 housing will help boost creep. What turbo do you have?

Oh sorry its the 14b i think when the car goes back to the mechanic to have the tranny pulled and built i'll have the O2 housing ported and im getting a boost controller for christmas most likely

no but how would that keep it from boost creepin? Im goin to rewire it soon

Port the o2 housing, or get a 2.5" tubular one (www.122peformance.com). Get a 34mm wastegate flapper (almost every dsm shop has them) and enlarge the wastegate opening for the larger flapper. That's the only way you will eliminate creep.

How much am i lookin at spendin on the flapper and o2 housing?

The only reason I asked about the pump is becasue the 20psi is going t orun you very lean. I wouldn't worry about the flapper on only the 14b, With just a ported O2 housing or a tubular O2 housing It should eliminate the creep.

I'd do it simply because you won't have to go in there again if it does creep.
The flapper is $35 from most people. 02 will depend. You could port the stock one, $50-100. Expect a lot of downtime though, parts don't usually come back really quick. Or find a junkyard core and have that ported. Or do the tubular o2 housing, check the 122 site for prices.

boost creep is when you are set for like 12psi and it hits that but as the rpms go up the boost slowly creeps up higher and higher becuase of the pressure on the wastegate
