Hey guys, i have a 99 gst, and was looking to get a magnaflow muffler. I want to use my stock tips to welded onto the magnaflow muffler so it would look stock. Im in the north hollywood area.. Anyone know of any good deals for Magnaflow Mufflers? please let me know.. Thanks

that would really defeat the purpose of better flow,don't ya think? your stock muffler flows good,leave it alone if you want a stock look.

The stock muffler doesn't flow "good," or even well, that's why there are aftermarket systems.

What I did on my car is I just didn't weld a tip on at all. With the simgle 3 inch pipe poking out the back, it looks very sleeper.
I'll try to snag a picture or something for you...

Also, some mufflers have dual tips already one them, such as some of the Magnaflows and some of the Edelbrock RPM series mufflers. That looks pretty stock too.

You can sort of see my tip, or lack thereof, in these pictures, although they're kind of crappy. Sorry.

Road Race Engineering in Santa Fe Springs carries magnaflows, and I think they have done what you are asking about before.

you should be able to find a "straight through" maganflow with 3" center and dual 2.25" or dual 2.5"

I have Magnaflow # 14830 It looks just like stock, but it is stainless steel, very classy looking, not ricey at all. But it is very loud, even with a resonator, but I do have a test pipe installed also.
