full boost at 4500rpm on the B14 turbo at 18psi in an auto?

i have a 93 talon AWD automatic with a complet level10 tranny. it seems that the turbo dosent get full boost till around 4500rpm.
i have the free mods and a k&n filter turbosx BOV extrem motorsports MBC set at like 16 to 18psi boost gauge A/F gauge thats it. any info will help alot. 1 more thing when i do get full boost it feels like the car shuters but its not full cut what is it?

my Torque Converters stall is 3200 to 3500rpms i had a HydroSystem™ Valve Body Recalibrations done also had a shift kit put in that handles 750hp and 650tq

you may still be hitting fuel cut. 17 or 18 psi is really high on a stock pump

Mike,

You need to replace that big vacuum hose with smaller line. That will account for a lot of your slow spoolup. Your car also prolly needs a complete tune up. I didn't drive it, so I'm not sure exactly what you are experiencing, but I'd be willing to bet that some maintenance needs to be done. It may be plug wires, which could get expensive. We could swap my Magnecores on there to see if it alleviates the problem. Best case scenario, if you could scrape together 30 bux or so, we'll do plugs, a thermostat, and just check everything over real well.
