02 eliminator downpipe...any good???

Just curious how good the downpipes with external o2 dump/02 eliminator work? I wasthinking of getting one of these...ive heard they need a little work to get on? Any feedback would be appreciated!

I'm sure it's a fine piece. What vendor are you looking at purchasing? That would give us more insight into the quality and craftsmanship of the piece.

Just so you know, it will be very LOUD.

I wasnt lookin at any specific brands, althought i know im not gonna go buy the top of the line insanely priced one, nor will i buy a piece of garbage...just want something that 3" o2 eliminator. Shit, ill be boost creeping like crazy on a big16g, and full 3" exhaust (w/ o2 eliminator) wont i?

The 02 elim turbo back is great for a 16g turbo as it will help it spool real fast and insure that you will never have back pressure problems. We are currently using the 02 elim on stock turbo cars and aren't getting boost creep because of the new larger wastegate tubes and some porting of the pipe inside. This insures that you won't get boost creep on int. wastegate turbos.

I also recommend the int. dump for the street as the ext. dump can get annoying after a while. Let me know if there are any questions. The 3"02 elim turbo back is well worth the investment and you will never need to upgrade.

I have the extreme turbo 3" O2 Eliminator downpipe. Picked it up used off the board, and I am very happy with it. I am internally gated so it is not much louder than any other dp. But it made a huge difference.

I'm planning on getting these too along with the high flow cat very soon, with internal dump. However, the price seems to be on the high side at $330 and along with an additional $100 for the high flow cat makes me think twice. I'm hoping the RNR could get us a break on their pricing.

Well I was going to get an 02 eliminator d/p first, then the exhaust and test pipe, as i have not enough funds for a full turbo back exhaust at this point

when you think about it $330 isn't too high for a 3" O2 eliminator downpipe, a normal 3" dp will cost you over $200 + the cost of a ported or external dump O2 housing ($100-$200).

that's how i thought about it and i ordered a 2.5" O2 eliminator dp w/ external dump (can't wait til it gets here)

$330 isn't expensive at all when you consider what are getting. There isn't really any other company selling a system like this except Extreme which is more money and doesn't come with a SS flex section, which you will need.

Buying a regular 3" downpipe and then porting your 02 sensor housing won't have near as much flow and will cost the same. So just buy what you want to first time and you won't have to upgrade later.
