I am getting a 91 AWD Eclipse. I am planning on getting a Ported and Polished Lancer Evo III O2 Sensor Housing with a ported 2G manifold. I am not familiar with wastegate setups and was wondering how it would be set up on this Exhaust setup. I've seen External Wastegates welded to the collector on the Exhaust manifold. How much of an effect does an internal/external wastegate have on the performance? Like I said. I'm not very familiar with wastegates and any help would be helpful. If I didn't supply enough info, which I'm sure I didn't, let me know what else you need to know and I'll tell you. Thanks.

external gates are nice,however,you don't NEED one,internals work fine,but if you have the cash,by all means,go for the external.
