Upgrade to T-28 before exhaust and Fuel upgrade?

I can get a forced performance t-28 sport for $365 shipped. It looks like its in good condition. Is the FP t-28 sport as good as any other t-28? Could I install it without a 195 fuel pump while running stock exhaust? I will be getting exhaust and a 195 pump soon, but would it be ok to run with the new turbo for a little bit before the other upgrades? I think I have everything else I need to run the t-28 for now. yeah you should be fine...I wouldnt push it yet IMOP, Cause the t-28 is just a much better t25 un less it is the big t-28 killer which has a much bigger compressor housing. Where are you getting the turbo from I want the big t-28 killer for my final turbo.

yup...just keep the boost at a reasonable level and you should be fine until you're ready do the rest of your mods...have fun

sounds like a good deal, you can get it and let it sit till you get the rest of parts (which is hard to do youll install it anyway )

I run a T28 with the stock fuel system, but I run low boost( 13-14psi)

my BIG28 is running on stock fuel system as of now @~15psi with no problems, just keep your boost down until you get a pump and an exhaust

Personally I would just buy it and put it aside until you can afford to do your exhaust and fuel work. Atleast the exhaust.

That is what I would do too. I personally would not install a bigger turbo before puttin in at least a FP and exhaust.
