Magnus Manifold on a 1g

Best mod ever. The power is ridiculus. I wouldn't doubt it gave 50+hp. Car is a new beast. Turbo seems to spool quicker, and have better low end too. Everything is better. The car even idles better.

hows the fitment? does it have pre-drilled hole for the stock t-body?...how much "fabricating" do you need to go to get the stock stuff to bolt up?...im not worried about any emmisions stuff or the cruise control

any other input on problems you ran into, ect. please post...they are running a good price on the intake now and i was considering buying it over the FRH...thanx

Yeah Id like to know how much fabrication it actually took to get it on. Also how did the Intercooler piping work with it being lower? Your running a stock head with HKS 272s right?

have a look at the thread that tevonor(sp) did on the 2G magnus intake unreal and i both posted install reviews of the 1G verson along with pics.

ahh kool thanx..i kept seeing that thread and thinking, damnit i wish someone would give some input on the 1g one...guess i should have looked..

Just had to cut a few inches off the IC pipe. No drilling or cutting of anything. Bolted right on. TB bolted right on. Had to cut/trim water lines to TB and vacuum lines.

I bolted teh transistor pack to the firewall, and bolted the coils to the motor mount with a piece or strap metal.

Damn Unreal you are teasing me, you are going to make all the part drones shift there opinion from sheet metal intakes are pointless,to the mod of choice. Marco's phone will be ringing off the hook soon

Looks real nice. I can't wait to get my car back together with my 1G Magnus in it. It's insane how much lighter this manifold is and it looks f-ing sweet.
