I want to buy a new turbo this week and i cant decide between the Green or L2R. The only thing i can decide on is im going external gated. Any thoughts?

Green...but don't take my opinion, do your own research and look over the 10,000 threads involving this very same topic.....

I don't mean to make you more undecided but you might want to look into the SBR-GT12 from slowboyracing.com hehe. Sorry, but it looks like a good turbo! :D

Niether. AGP t3/t4 kit.

Umm, do you realise that the L2R IS an AGP turbo? And that it IS a T3/T4 kit? Or that a T3/T4 turbo could be one of VERY many possible turbos? How bout that the L2R IS an AGP turbo and that it IS a T3/T4?

The L2R is not necessarily a kit, and is not necessarily a T3/T3 because it is offered with a mitsu turbine housing. So chill a bit. Nick has had more dealings and ties with AGP than anyone one this board. So before you try to set him straight, you should get your info in order.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread. Its a tough decision. The T3/T4 kit is a good idea however, due to the fact that once you buy a Green or L2R, an external, and 02 houing or paying to have the external welded to you stock manifold, you could have easily paid for a T3/T4 kit from AGP. Plus you will probably have some money left over. Just my 2¢.

maybe not 100% t3/t4, but it is a t3 wheel of some sorts (they wont tell)...

Either way, i was just upset at the fact that he simply said "neither, get the t3/t4 blabla" without any explanation whatsoever. The point I'm making is that that post was useless to the original topic of this post. He said "Green or L2R" ....

Not trying to offend anyone.

Actually NO! The L2R uses Garrett ballistics wheels, which are completely different from the standard T3/t4 combinations we are so uses to.

ok, I guess i can admit being wrong on the L2R, my bad. :thumb:
but I'm still sticking with my previous statement about it being wrong for him to just drop a random statement on the post.

It's really up to you.

Both are good turbos.
Both have gone 11's.
Both have gone 10's.
Both have put down good numbers on the dyno.
Both are reliable.

You will not be dissapointed with either choice.

Lke Cucumber said, it's your preference now. You can call them up and see which vendor treats you the best, and buy from them. Or, you can pick the one with the cooler name :thumb:

Thanks for the input guys. Im going to have to go with Hobbes advise and pick the one with the cooler name hahaha.

I prefer to flip a coin ;) Thats how I decided between the Green and BR20g.

I have a few quetions while we are on these Turbo

what do these turbo flow for CFM'S

1. L1R
2. L2R
3. Green
4. Red?

Green, L2R, GT12
How could you go wrong with any of those choices? hehe. I'd say buy from the people you feel most comfortable with, or whoever has the best deal. Good luck!

I got the new housing on my L3R. Its hogged out to 8cm. AGP said they picked up somewhere between 30-40 hp with the new housing on this L3R.

I want to hear more about the new housing on a L2R. I emailed them last month but didnt get a response. PTE or MHI? HP on pump gas and 22-23 psi, spooling?
