 now my car SOMETIMES, but not always idles up around 1200 rpms. Most of the time it idles nicely at 750, but after driving it, it now idles at around 1200, and kinda surges up and down by 150 rpms. Did cleaning the SMIC have anything to do with this?

Kind Regards,

Sounds to me the most likely candidate is a leak in the IC piping, probably at one of the clamps. Double check all of your connections to ensure they are tight and secure. If you have a leak in the IC piping, the motor will ingest un-metered air causing the idle to rise up.
