I am currently running a 16g and I am starting my fuel mods. I want to be able to run pump gas into the 12's. I was thinking an afc, 255lph pump, and 660cc injectors. I have been trying to get a definate answer on which pump I should get but so far have been unsuccessful. I don't want a new FPR, what is the largest pump I can run with the stock fpr? Is that enough fuel for 660's?

Thanks, Jon

the regular 255lph pump will be fine for those 660s (and the 12's). if you have the 255 HIGH PRESSURE pump, you will most likely need a new FPR.

isn't the 255, even at low pressure, better than the 190lph??? I have the cash right now, I just need to know what pump to get that will work well and be reliable.

so a 190 walbro will supply enough fuel for the 660cc on a 16g using the stock fpr? Correct?

Jon

with 190's and 660's your "weak" point would be the pump...with the right tuning i think you'll out grow your pump before your injectors...

I definately suggest either the Walbro or a Supra TT pump. The bug will always bite to make you want to go aster.

Regards,

You don't need 660's on a 16g either. You'll have an easier time tuning with 550's.

but if you truly have a hunger for RAW speed and less about appearances, he wont stay with the 16g for long. Yes i know that lots of people run 16's to very fast ETs but a large chunk of people will ditch it in favor of bigger turbos. And my reasoning behind my first statement is that lots of people buy cars like 2Gs for looks and spend more money on body kits than real mods...

Anyway, the point is that 660's now will be a good thing later..

well i'll be a poor college boy in a few months so I'm thinking a 16g will be it for me. I am only looking to get into the 12's at that point i'll be happy. If I can achieve it with 550's and a 190 than that will work for me, but again, I want to be able to run 12's on pump gas.

i guess if you're going to still with the 16g, and are looking for 12's. You should be able to meet that goal with 550's and a 190lph. The 255LP and 190 are the same price so i'd still get the 255. As for the 550's those cost 100 dollars less than 660's....You make the call.
