think i might have broke somethin?

had to display some of my car's power to a friend today, so i did something ive never done before...i revved up to about 5 grand, slipped the clutch, then burned up through the top of 4th gear. after that little show i slowed down and drove regularly, but it stunk like shit in the car. not just tire smoke though, it smelled almost transmission oilish.

car runs perfectly as far as i can tell 40 miles later or so. what was that? burned up clutch?
