ok so i ordered skunk2 adj cam gears p#304-06-0260 how do i install them to work with my 95 cam angle sensor, that was on my intake cam. because the trigger plate is attached to the oem gear.

1g cas and get rid of the crank sensor why you are at it .

When I remove the crank sensor. Do I keep the trigger plate installed? And will the 1g cas plug into the 95 cam angle sensor I have now?

mine plugs into the crank sesor wire and i use the tach wire for the cam sensor

So pretty much, I am removing the crank sensor.Then wiring the new 1g cas to the 2g crank sensor harness. The 1g cas yellow wire goes to the blue wire on the crank sensor harness. Red goes to red. Black goes to black. then the 4th wire on the 1g cas (white) goes to 1a on the chip inside the ecu. correct?

Or the 4th wire (white) can go to the blue wire one the 95 cam angle sensor harness

Will i have to switch pins on the ecu, and if so. What ones?

Do to switching the cas from the original right side of the intake cam, to the left side of the intake cam. The signal to the ecu reverses (inverts).
Making you have to invert the spark plug firing order, and the injector order

JNZ tuning sells a 1g cas pigtail if your capable of making your own harness.

After you connect the 1g cas harness. You have to do the following procedures.

using the 95-96 ecu diagram

put pin 1 in pin 14's slot
put pin 2 in pin 1's slot
put pin 15 in pin 2's slot
put pin 14 in pin 15's slot

this will invert the injectors to the right order.

you will also have to switch the two blue wires on the coil pack to invert the spark plugs firing order

This is the best way to install a 1g cas in a 2g dsm. Because the car will idle smoother, and start better.

Quick note most people consider the black top cas better. Because it responds more efficient.

well i have a h8 ecu so i did not have to switch pins but you could just swap 1-2 and 3-4 plug wires and injector wires

My NGK wires are cut to length, and fit perfect. If i switch them it's not a clean look.
