Quick question, I know the bulk of the work that needs to be done but id there anything that some people forget that I should know? Also you think it would be cheaper to buy my parts and bring them to my mechanic to be installed or j ust go through him? I saw a Timing Kit on eBay, would this be a good investment on my part?

you'd probably be best to see what the best deal on OEM parts you can get is,then see what your mechanic can get,use only OEM belts, others are known to snap alot sooner than 60k.

The best/cheepest route would be to order the parts from Concelli or any other Mitsu dealer that gives us discounts and take the parts to your mechanic. You might even be able to talk a local DSMer in your area to install everything for you too.

I'd be very cautious about buying that kit from e-bay...
