Hey guys,

I just got a 1g talon tsi awd, stepping up from a boosted 420a. I want to do something about this ugly ass intake, do I need to get a new maf to be able to put a new intake pipe and filter on?

Ok cool deal... When I sell my other car I will go speed density. That is when I can afford a tune along with everything else.

So the 2g maf will plug straight up to the maf plug I already have in the car?

No the plugs are different.
1g on the left and 2g on the right.

You would have to splice the 2g pigtail into the 1g harness or make your own harness like this:

I would also like to note that it wont run right with just a 2g MAS. It flows 20% more air then the stock 1g and you would have to add 550cc injectors (with some sort of tuning) just to get her to run right.
