lovin my new 16 but have problems plz help

well i got my 16g installed perfectly today all done by myself.. ( i feel so proud) and after checking for leaks or anything that could be bad i wanted to test drive it so i go out to a stretch of road and in 1st i take it easy 2nd i give it a little gas i watch my boost gauge and it rises so i push it to 10lbs and im like woah this is cool (dont laugh) and so i go into 3rd and im like time for WOT so i floor it and it goes up to 20 and it wouldve kept going but i let off and i go under my hood and change settings on my MBC (its an ebay model type) so i go for another spin YET again it goes up to 20 but i let off in time but during this run there was so much psi that i had a lower IC pipe blow off so i tightened back up and now IM SO confused cuz ive tried every setting on the MBC .... i hooked the bottom end of the MBC to the T which goes to the BOV and the other end goes straight to the wastegate.... did i hook it up wrong ... can someone help me tune i dont want to blow anything when im so close to actually getting this to work... please help :talon:
 
More than likely you're getting boost creep and need to port the wastegate flapper area and port the hole out. If you hook a straight line from the nipple on your wg actuator to the nipple on your outlet pipe and get more than say 11-12 psi, it's boost creep and time to do some porting....
 
but i dont understand if boost creep is THAT bad then i would hate to get an exhaust setup... i just dont get y its going that high on my stock crappy exhaust its not even a BIG 16g its not ported or anything its just a normal 16g and i cant control the boost ..... another thing is im using the turbo outlet and it has a small nipple on the end of it AM I soposed to hook something onto that??? i just have it pluged for now??? :cry:
 
ok wat if say i wanted to take off my manual boost controller how would i hook up the vacuum lines back up to the boost solenoid restrictor???? cuz on my t25 it had a split going to the wastegate and a little nipple in the compressor housing of the turbo... this i think would benifit me best becuase i could be at stock psi like 10 to 11 right?????
 
If it is boost creep it will not matter at all. I have the same problem. Even with the mbc off I still hit fuel cut (~20psi). I am going to a 20g soon so I can live with it for now. I will get a external wastegate with my 20g setup.

You are getting this with the stock exhaust still on? I have the same turbo as you and had no problems until I upgraded to 3" exhaust. I ran a 16g on stock everything with no problem.
 
yes i have stock exhaust/ maybe its the way i hooked up the mbc i didnt use the nipple on the turbo outlet i just pluged it... could that be the problem y my MBC doesnt really regulate boost
 
NO you are getting CREEP. Did you get the 34mm flapper mod? I just got a big16g and installed it on my car. I have a VP o2 dump and the 16g has a 34mm flapper mod done to it. I still have a little creep, I choose the 34mm flapper mod over port. But I think its worth it.
