Well a show down between the RnR t3/t4 kit, and the AGP t3/T4 kit. I have been trying to decide between the tow now for over a month, and its time I made my mind up. There are things I like about both kits. Like the RnR using the 50 trim wheel in a .70 ar housing. Or like how AGP use's the ballistic 4 bolt exhaust side.

I just dont know what to do, to be honest. Please everybody put in there 2 cents about these kits. So that I can finally make my mind up between the to :dsm:

Everyone I know with an AGP kit has ran 11s. I don't even know if anyone has an RNR kit yet. Thats enough to convince me.

Im sure the RnR kit has that capability to. It's just the RnR kit is so new, but it seems very similiar to the AGP kit. But thanks for the advise

I should be recieving my AGP kit within a few days...I'd much rather buy my turbo from a company that started out building turbos, rather than a company that started out building exhausts and branched out to turbos as well. To me, this decision should be a no brainer for you...Sometimes saving a few dollars isn't worth it in the long run

Its not that Im trying to save the extra 100 bucks
Shit if Iam going to lay down 1600 usd. WHich is like 50,000 cnd  . Do you think that 100 means anything. I just want to make sure that Iam make the right decision here. This is a big chunk of change and I want to make sure I ge the best.:thumb:

ive been in the same dilema as you (i remember you posting in my other thread about the rnr kits)

after much thought im going to order the AGP kit most likely this week. agp will personally guarrenty the header from cracking, lots of options as far as what you want with the kit, and they seem to have great service and reputation.

after taking all these issues into consideration and the fact that RnR is just not coming through on the pics shows to me lack of customer support(although the owner ryan has been really polite and im sure they are a good business, for online sale YOU NEED PICTURES!). agp on the other hand has lots of pics and detailed information, which is important to me when i cant see the product in person before buying it.

one agp kit flanged for tial 40mm with a custom t3/60-1 turbo on the way for me:D

Yes the RnR kit does come with the 4 bolt option. But the AGP kit comes with the 4 bolt, and not as an option. The RnR kit use's the 50 trim wheel for no extra money. The RnR kit is a bit cheaper. The wait time for the kit is not as long either. But that could say somthing else to. But In my book I like it. The RnR kit comes with the .70ar compresor housing, with the 4 inch inlet. I really dont know if that makes a difference???

AGP, and SFP has an out standing name for a quility products. Plus the kit has been tested with good reviews. Th RnR kit is still a bit of a mystery. With lack of pics, and reviews it makes it harder to buy, and be reasured about it. But that doesnt mean the new guy on the block doesnt deserve a fair shake either.

The RnR comes with a stainless steel mani for no extra charge. While the AGP kit use's mild steel. The reason i like this is becuase i dont have to worry about surface corrosion. Because sooner or later that coating on the manifold is coming off. But of course all the horrer stories about stainless steel cracking. But there is a 3 year warrenty on the RnR manifold.

SFP manifolds are also known for being some of the best out there. RnR is a bit of a mystery because they are new. But I have heard alot of good things about the rest of there products. So far i know there is a 1 year warrenty on the AGP turbos. Im not sure what the RnR's is yet, or if they have one. I will update that when i find out. So as you can see they are similar but yet lots of differences to. If that makes sense. I just want to make sure I get my moneys worth, while still giving the New guy his fair chance.

But to RnR. You should really post pic of the kit publicy. Because you are loosing busniess. I dont know why you havent already. Maybe because the kit is very new, and you are very busy. Or you want a bit of mystrey about the kit. I dunno. But I think it will help you sell more of your kits, and help the Dsm community make there minds up.:dsm:

If RnR is using a different housing then they need to rebalance the turbo. A good question to ask these vendors is how they balance the turbos and to what specifications they balance them to.

he's talking about .7ar for the compressor housing, not the turbine housing.

yes yes Iam. But RnR told me that its was a miss print on the site. SO they do still use the .60 a/r. As for who builds there turbos, and to what specs. Turbonetics builds all there turbos. So that answers that
