I got new ss oil supply lines for my 14b. I know that i need to plug off the old lines. But where do i hook my new one up to? I noticed a bolt on the front of the block slightly to the left. Is this the one? Any advice would be great.

perfect. Thanks a lot. Can i still use the 10mmx1.25 to block off my oil supply line. It says only for 1g but i was hoping this would work for my car too.

i beleive its the same on a 2G, Im not sure though... Either way just go to ACE hardware or something and find the right plug for it, no biggie.
Good luck

Austin

Is your oil supply line supposed to be hooked up to the oil filter housing or the block. I'm pretty sure most SS lines for the Mitsu turbos are supposed to be off the oil filter housing. If its for a 2g all you do is replace the one you have now. If its a 1g you'll need to plug the old one off the block then use the one off the oil filter housing.

Some people run it from the stock head location, some from the housing. I dont think that the higher oil pressure you get from the housing is really anything to worry about, which is why thats where mine is located at. You can get nice filtered oil from that location and its also what RRE recommends whom I trust knows what they're talking about...
