HX40 BEP housing issues

i just got my HX40 BEP housing today and i noticed the WG flapper that i asked to be welded shut was MIG welded, and still has pieces of wire feed in it. the welds are cold and actually leak an oz of water when poored in, i was curious if anyone else had quality issues with the BEP housing. also inside the volute where the turbine is, is very rough ground and will need re sanding. im very disappointed in the quality of this housing, as i will have to take my dremmel to the rough areas, and use a tig welder to melt down the cold MIG beads that look like absolute ass. called BEP and they said they only TIG weld their housings so either someone else did this one or BEP is lieing. i dont really know. i bought it from extreme psi who says that they wont be stocking the BEP anymore after their last one in stock currently, which they verified, also leaks water. so im curious, has anyone else had quality issues with your BEP turbine housing for either your HX40 or 35?

I PM'd Justin also, he said he installed a BEP on a customer last week and it was also perfect, i wonder if the last 2 at extreme were duds. oh well they said they aren't going to be stocking it anymore so that leaves me to tig torching these cold BEP beads so it doesn't leak anymore. here are some pix:

The volute itself looks fine, but if you check out the hole where the turbine is supposed to push air inside the housing that slit type thing, its all ground and cut up roughly, ill have to take my dremmel to it to smooth it out. I'll get some after pix up when its all done. I think its unacceptable for something that is supposed to be critical to airflow.

While im at it, in the pic of the volute- you guys think it would be a good idea to smooth down the flapper inlet so air doesnt get dammed up in there and so it has a nice transition? Is there anything else that could use porting in here while i got the dremmel ready?

what do you guys think? anyone else have similar issues?

okay tig welded around the bead, melted nicely. and is sealed. still looks like crap, because i wasnt adding filler, just spreading the MIG filler, may look like ass, but its better then it was, and it actually seals, holds water and wont be leaking or causing any issues. now i just gotta wait for my bolts and crecent moon clips from BEP, cause extreme didnt include them in mine.......
