1g Turbo Swap(mopar)?

my buddy has a garret turbo that came off of his omni glh. It has been rebuilt by turbonetics and upgraded with ceramic ball bearings. On his car with a homade conquest fmic and pushing 28psi that car went high 12's. Will that turbo fit a 1g with a little modification or am I wasting my time?

It will not fit on your car at all. Even with a standard T3 manifold, the bolt spacing on the Chrysler turbine housings are different.

yeah thats what I thought before I took a ride in it. It is one bad car.

The fact that it took 28 psi to run 12's would signify to me that it is not a great turbo. A 14b will run high 12's at like 20 psi.

However, those Dodge heads don't flow so well, so who knows...

Either way, it won't bolt up, so no.
