GreenBelt,
What do you guys think about it, what all is required to install a 2.3L rotating assembly? What are the pro's and cons?

Did you already read thru the 2 other stroker threads? They have a lot of info in them. I'd say go for it.

!! Ya I believe ther are a couple 2.3 threads and a 2.4 thread.Originally posted by NDgsx
You're better off building up a 4G64. That block has a 6mm deck height, letting you run longer rods (same length as a 4G63), for a better rod ratio. That means better cylinder filling at higher rpms.
Parts come out much cheaper also. Talk to Marco at Magnus about pistons, he has custom Ross slugs.

Price is not worthwhile for a complete 4G64 bottom end swap. Plus Magnus sells 4G64 shortblocks for 4K. I can put together a 2.3-liter stroker kit for 1300$. .1-liters is not worth 2700$.![]()

I bought my 2.4l short block for $75, no need for a stroker kit. All you need is the dohc 4G64 cam gears (or adjustable units). You guys just don't know what application to look for 2.4l blocks and no I'm not telling what it isg64b
In reading other threads I found that there are pistons with the pin set higher so you can use standard length rods reducing the 2.3l cost significantly.
