I am using all free mods including the free manual boost controller (except fuel pump rewire) and have a k&n filter. I am running my boost at about 15 and when the rpms get about 4700 to redline the boost drops down to about 10. Is the 14b just maxed out for cfm at the higher rpms? Thanks. If this is the wrong forum i apologize. (newbie)

Do you have a boost guage or are u looking at the stock pos? Make sure you have no leaks and mod your car. itshould keep 15 psi past 6k w/o a problem

Looking at a proper boost gauge.
Drops quite quickly to 10. Do I need a proper boost controller maybe? Not the aquairuim hose one?

Yes get a real boost controller. Iv never like the cheap way out of things. If your goign to mod your car do ti the right way. Dont get cheap on somethign that may hinder your performance.

yea your 14b is not maxed yet. They are good for about 18 psi, and alot more mods. Some people go 12's on them. Good turbo

to do this you must do other mods tho, read the tuning guide either here, RRE or both. DO NOT just crank the boost.
