4g64--any new info?

the DSMtalk thread hasnt really put up new info as far as pistons and rods, who is making pistons specfically for this swap that will hook up to eagle rods?

i cant find anyone, does wiseco make pistons for it? i know JE does but ive heard bad things about JE and piston slap

also if i use a spyder 4g64 engine will i still need the same parts as far as galant stuff like the HG, timing belt?

ANY 63 rod will work. As for pistons Ross makes them and that is good enough for me

Umm.. I think that is a typo. Crower doesnt make pistons. Give Marco at Magnus a call and have him set you up with his Ross pistons. Or you could just give Ross a call and give them Job #68591 which is for their 8.5:1 pistons for the 4G64 6 bolt setup.

i want 9:1 pistons, and those pistons only work with 1g rods, im getting eagle rods

Then just have them change the pin diameter. And here is the job number for that by the way. This is for a .020 overbore 7 bolt stroker Job #75448.
