does anyone know if a 35mm waste gate is big enough for a frank level 7 or do i need to go bigger

With a turbo that big I would get a 40mm gate.

Depends on how much boost and HP your going to make. A 35mm gate is typically good till about 450hp before any problems with it's size arize. If you want to make sure as L2R said get a 40, but if your going to keep it under 450 then a 35mm will work. We have a car making 400 and spray 100hp on top of it and the 35 doesn't creep at 500 total whp so it is possible to make lots of power on that gate.
