Then i saw these Taylor Spiro-Pro wires and i was wondering if these are anygood? They cost 26.99. Im on a budget and cant afford alot so which one of the 2 would are good wires, which should i get?? The NGK-9571 wires are quality replacements for the OEM wires and highly regarded. Where did you find them for $19.39. Summit shows them for $31.39, which is about what I paid for them from Summit last year.?

You can pay 2 to 5x for Magnacores or Nology wires but you won't see 2-5x difference in performance over the NGK's.

I have the Taylors on my car and I love them. Look great and perform as good as they look.

I'm drowning in Summit catalogs and can't file the latest Sport Compact catalog but if it's like the earliers ones you'll note that it says "from $19.xx" same deal for MSD, Accel, and Taylor Spiro-Pro.

The correct NGK wires for a '90 4G63 are the 9571. Taylor says Spiro-Pro 77032 (Black), 77232 (Red), 77632 (Blue), "409" 79069, 79269, 79669 and ThunderVolt 98069 are for 90-99 4G63's but they use the same part numbers for several other cars. NGK has a different part number (9456) for 2G 4g63's cause the length is different with the 2G coil pack. The Spyro-Pro's are $42.99, the 409's $72.39, and the TV $71.99 on the web site right now. I'm sure Taylor makes good wires but it doesn't say much that they don't know there are two different lengths for 1G and 2G.

Yes you are correct im sorry, i over looked the "From" part by the dollar amount! my mistake. So i will go with the NGK's seems to be the best out there for our cars , thats what i seem to read ne way. Thank you for ur help

No Problem. I wasn't on a budget and that's what I went with. They might not be the "Best" but they are the best bang for the buck. You might want to look for what ever else you need to help leverage Summit's S/H charge, do you have a K&N filter installed?

Steve

Steve, i got a quick suspension question for you. I'm thinkin of gettin the matrix coilovers out of summit. part number GRM-08-012 . I called summit to see if they would fit the AWD cars and they wasnt sure so they connected me to the matrix company and i talked to them and they told me they dont see why they wouldnt work? so im kinda iffy iffy on these. Thanks Chris

My opinion, save your money until you can afford quality coilovers if that's the way you want to go. I have Pro kit springs and AGX shocks, so I can't comment other than to say Tein and JIC seem to be real quality and the rest pretenders.

Steve

Yah, i want to go with the coilovers, but dont have the money to get get the hi dollar sets you know. I know they are pretty good cuz my friend has them on a civic and they ride good. But maybe i should just save my money and get the good stuff? But for now i think they would work good untill i upgrade?

If your shocks are shot I'd just put some KYB GR-2 ( 235032 front $59.95, 341121 rear $39.95) on until you can afford something better. They are the stock replacements but a little better and pretty cheap (Cheaper at Tire Rack than Summit). For reference my springs and shocks cost $600 and I would expect any good coilovers to be more expensive.
