Engine balance shaft removal

To install a counter balance shaft removal kit to a 91 turbo engine what else has to be done to the engine? Obviously these were installed for a reason from the factory. Does the engine just have to be internally balanced at a machine shop?

it is suggested, some engines are more balanced than others, but i have heard some people not having any problems at all.

Nothing else has to be done, the engines are balanced during assembly within normal production tolerances. The BS's are to reduce natural vibration caused in all inline 4 cylinder engines by creating an out of phase vibration with the weights of the BS. I notice some increase in vibration at 700-800 rpm but it's gone by 1k and pulls much harder/faster than with the BS's.
