2G 98 block with 95 oil pump?

I have a 95 TSi, I am purchasing a 98 block off a TSi. Will my stock oil pump work with the block? If not what do I need to do to make the block work?

not to aggravate anyone, but this ? is whats between me and getting my car back after 2 months.

I would think so, I dont think anything really changed much from 95-99 on the 7 bolt 4g63T's.

7-bolt parts are mostly interchangeable between the years (may 1992-1999). so yes, a 95 oil pump will work on a 98 block.
