When i get my taxes back i plan on getting some forged pistons and connecting rods. But i dont know what kind, i was wondering if anyone here has some good ones. I dont want to spend more than $900, if possible. and does anyone know how much it would be to install stuff like this.

you can get a set of wiseco pistons with rings and wrist pins for $399 (that's what i did). Your 1g rods are good, but if you're going forged, you can get some eagle rods as opposed to crowers ($700) if you're on a budget. Browse online for some DSM vendors and see what you can find. I installed my pistons and rods myself, had the block bored .020 over for $50 at a machine shop, only labor expense. takes more time if you do it yourself, but at least you know it was done right :) good luck
