To start off, ive already read the VFAQ about porting and it did help he out with porting my o2 housing, but it doesnt go into a lot of detail on porting the 14b.
I am going to port/gasket match the manny and turbo exh. housing to 7cm. Also, im goning to take a look at the wg flapper and outlet to see if there are any cracks and open it up a little.
The thing that im confused about it should i port out the outlet of the exh housing or not? Is that going to make a diff. on a 95 stock o2 housing? How should i port the wg outlet on the turbo? Any other tips would be helpful too.

And i already used the SEARCH tool. OMG

If I'm visualizing this right, port match the turbo out to the O2 housing inlet. Basically try your best to match them both to the gasket that geos inbetween them.

As for the wastegate, there just follow the same principles as in the VFAQ. Open the area at the hinge to allow unobstructed movement for the flapper is needed, and then "shape" the area on the oppisite side of the hinge to help direct airflow to the O2

Well, i just got the turbo today, and it looks like crap.
here is my biggest prob now. Look at the wg hole. it has about 3-4 cracks in it and it doesnt even look like the door can close on the cracks.

I bet nitrous would spool it up !! Hehe... or you could buy a nitrous timer that waits till 6K rpm, then shuts off, then you get boost for 1000 RPMs, then Nitrous again !!! J/K..

Could some kinda bad ass weld fix that ? Like weld it, then grind the weld almost total back down to help it seal ?

Duct tape ?

Come on, any good advice? Is this thing totaly worthless now? Would i be able to use the t-25 exh housing on a 14b?

you can't use a t-25 turbine housing on a 14b...the biggest problem with welding it, is that cast is one of the hardest things to weld...i'd be willing to bet that most welder wouldn't even bother with it...you may be able to fill it with brass and grind it down, but i don't know how long that would hold up or if it would even work at all...

Exactly, I dont know of many places that like to weld cast iron. Especially something as small/critical as that. It is shot dude, either stick with it and and save for a 16g+ or just port it out as best you can and try to use another flapper...

My 14b looked exactly the same and I only got a max of about 7-8psi regardless and I didnt even get it until about 6000 rpm !! LOL

damn...i hope you didn't get hosed buying that piece of ####. speaking of piece's of ####. I have an extra 14b that has chipped up exhaust blades but the wg hole is alot better. I'll sell it to you cheap if you want and you could use my exhaust housing with the cartridge from the one you already have.

That Turbine Housing has absolutely no redeming qualities about it whatsoever .
Take it & throw it over your shoulder .
Lord only knows what kind of cracks that thing has on the scroll or in the throat.
Try & find a freind or someone local with a
turbine housing in better shape. The reason I say local is because you will be able to inspect it before you invest any money in it. Good luck in your search.
