Best BOV for venting /w VPC?

What BOV would be best for venting with a VPC? I know they suck in air at idle and i am wondering if they open wide enough to cause problems...i.e. should i get one that has an attachable filter and what ones come with such filters?

Would the stock 1G work crushed? This is going to be for a 25psi+ application. And could you get filters for something like that?

It works opposite to normal BOV's. It's a pull type so you don't need to worry about that.

I run the SSQV on mine with a VPC. I doesn't leak at idle either.

The hks bov is a pull type relief valve, unlike other bov's dump valves which are push type i.e. diaphragm and piston types. The hks one is actuated by pressure alterations only, making valve response a little bit quicker and complete closure during idle. Regular types of bov's must utilize large valves or use washers or screws (to alter spring pressure) in order to accomodate high boost applications.

Oh yeah, the ssqv also has 2 valve. Its got a small one for really quick operation and a larger one for additionol pressure release. My friends 240 has one on it and he can just repeatedly tap the throttle and you can just hear the bov react so fast... pssh pssh pssh as quick as he can tap the peddle. pretty cool if you ask me

What kind of flange does the HKS bolt up to? It seems that dejon does not make a UICP flanged for a HKS BOV.

It bolts up to an HKS flange you have to buy seperatley.

or if u could find a Nissan Bluebird flange , c-clip it to that and it bolts right up to the 1g flange...heres a link to a thread about it..i posted under onegeeTSI...i think its $60 from HKS, u must special order it from a local shop..

yes they do and i have it! i think i payed 165. go check the site again u are interested in an hks bov. u just install it with a c clamp.

Unfortunatly its too late, i just installed my new dejon UICP flanged for the stock bov. when i get a FMIC later this season i will get a bov along with it.
