Can a 14b turbo from a 1g talon go into a 2g talon tsi??
Or am I better off getting a small 16g?

Yes, you can put a 14b on a 2g... but you'll need an install kit. It's not a direct bolt-on. If you're wanting to upgrade your stock turbo, why not try a T-28? It's a direct bolt-on and totally stock appearing. IMO, it's a better choice for a 2g. Just a thought.
