Boost leak or Creeping

I've searched through many of the posts and haven't found anything like this yet. 97 GST - Apex BOV, N1 exhaust, rre 2.5 down, test pipe, ACT 2600, lightened OEM FLY, free mods.

When I am in 1st, slowly accelerate up at 4000rpm the car starts bucking, not clutch bucking but is def. boost, does that in every gear if I slowly try to accelerate around 4-5000 rpm, can't cruise on the highway past 90 (5th gear 4-5G'srpm) when in WOT any gear no problem, has great response and reaches 140 before redline, I let off in any gear and psst, there goes the BOV just like it should. Is this boost creep?? wasn't sure creep could could be an issue at this level, I've tried adjusting the BOV but APEX's BOV doesn't really seem to have an adjustment level that I can notice.

Thats not boost creep to my knowledge. Boost creep is when you have a set boost of say 15psi and it slowly climbs to for example 18psi and stays there. Bucking sounds like fuel cut, but you said you dont have any problems at wot and past 5k.

Your problem is more than likely the fuel being too rich at low boost pressures.

Since you don't have a fuel computer, I'm going to attribute the problem to your BOV. If its leaking then it will cause a misreading of airflow into the intake manifold which will cause a bucking (hesitation since your MAF sensor is telling it what amount of fuel to inject based on intake airflow.

i think thats your problem. ive heard bad stories about them leaking. i have an hks and i love it.
