i have a 93 AWD and plan on sticking with the 14b for a while, and when i do upgrade i only plan on goin to a big16g.

i have apex n1 turbo-back exhuast, and get bad boost creep without the silencer in, and i was wondering how to rid it, and what would be the best option for my turbo.

would the evo manifold fit with my N1 downpipe? would it work well with my 14b, then my big16g when it comes time?

~ OR ~

should i just go with 2g ported o2 & manifold? and will that just bolt up? and be compatible with big16g when it comes time?

and with porting how big do i want to port too?

anything else i should know, or watch out for would be great.

help me out :dsm: gods THX MUCH ~ :thumb:

To get the best spool/power out of your setup and manifold and o2 will do it for you. I have a evo manifold and personally recommend (if you know how to port) to just get a 2G and port the sh!t out of it yourself. I think the difference is minimal and 2G manny's tend well ot lots of porting and odn't really crack. On the other hand I think that the EVO o2 is fuggin awesome. It is just huge, much bigger thn the 2g! POrting is a matter of matching IMO. If you port out your turbine housing to 7cm or so (6cm=14b) then port out your manifold outlet to the same to try and match them best you can. The EVO o2 is a little shorter/angled than the 2G o2 but it will still bolt up fine. When you bolt it up to the N1 unitizer it will put a little more stretch on the flex section unless you get the spacer (www.roadraceengineering.com sells all this stuff), which is ok by me. If you are going to keep the 14b youll pretty much have to port the nutts out of it in order to not creep. You will need to port the heck out of th turbine housing, wasstegate passage/hole and maybe even consider getting a larger 34mm flapper. however if you are going to be upgrading soon, these mods are not worth it cause you can just buy the 16g already like this then just do a little porting and your set. All this stuff bolts up with ease and makes a noticable difference in spool/flow...
