What kind of turbo do I have? 14G or 16G?

The previous owner told me my car had a 16G turbo on it. I was under the hood ( idle surge problem ) but I did notice the compressor side of the turbo had TD05H on the side of it. Is that a giveaway that it is a 16G? How can I tell w/o tearing my car apart.

They both have TDO5H on the housing.We need a pic of the Comp wheel.

Can I measure the circumference of the inlet tube and do the math to get the diameter. What would the inlet diameter of a 16G be?

just look inside at the fins. 16g alternate high/low and 14b (i assume you meant this one) are all even. see this just below the chart with inducer/exducer sizes: http://vfaq.com/mods/Turbo-compare.html

Exactly. And it's 14B not 14G.
