Just picked up the following:

18G (ported, clipped 15deg., 34mm internal wastegate)
3" BR Downpipe
3" BR Test Pipe
Lancer EVO 02 Housing
Denso 660 Injectors

I have about 500 bucks left over.. I have the stock SMIC! What a joke LOL. Anyway I was hitting fuel cut w/my 14B at 20lbs on the street, whats gonna happen when I install all this stuff? Will I hit fuel cut even worse? Should I get a 2G MAF?

And another question: What should I do w/the remaining 500 bucks? I need a FMIC bad.. Cams? Any ideas would help.

Other mods are in profile.. Erick.

Thanks for the response,

Do you think I'll be alright (as far as fuel cut) w/the 2G MAS, 660s, and AFC? As far as heatsoak, will it be so bad I won't feel too much of a dif. between the 18G and my 14B? There aren't any other things I can do help avoid Heatsoak except buy a REAL IC right? Erick

You were heatsoaking the stock IC not only because its very small, but also because you were running the 14B way out of its efficiency range. The 18G is more efficient, and shouldn't heat things up as bad at similiar Psi.

Ok thanks, that makes perfect sense, didn't think about that... Thanks for the suggestions, thats what I will order. You think I should do the 3" 2G MAS pipe from Dejon?

It seems like a good choice to me, economical and functional.

Good luck,
