I just got my EGT gauge and I plan on installing it in 2 days. I noticed there are several ways to install the probe according to the instructions and things I have read on the forums and internet.
The two ways I am considering, are threading the hole with a tap and screwing in the probe, or drilling the hole and using the clamp and washer to mount it.
Which is the best way to prevent an exhaust leak, and have the probe work at optimal performance?
