i got the apex n-1 on.....its sounds good............with the silencer on its sounds almost stock

Greddy Power Extreme and/or Greddy Evo. It has a nice deep aggressive tone but not as loud as all the other exhausts that I had heard.

If you want quiet with a nice tone, Id suggest a GReddy Evo or GReddy SP. If you want a deep tone but dont mind a little louder, go with an RSR, if you want a louder exhaust but with a pimp azz tone, go with an Apex N-1 like I will be

I would say if you want quiet and nice sounding then go with a 2.5" system. Make sure it has some resonators in it to keep the noise down.

We sell our N1 like 2.5" catback with the SS round muffler and a couple resonators for $350. This system is pretty quiet, but still flows pretty good.

I have the whole RnR 2.5" exhaust and don't even have resonators (or a cat) on it and it's still not loud. Louder than stock, yes, but not annoyingly loud. At highway speeds, you can't even really hear it over the road noise.

if you don't care about name brand and want a really good sounding muffler I strongly suggest you check out the Magnaflow! Sounds great and great price

i just installed the Greddy SP exhaust on my gsx. I did it this morning in the garage in about 35 mins. You could really feel the difference in weight of the stock exhaust versus the greddy( the greddy is considerably lighter). It doesn't sound much louder than stock at idle - 2500 rpm but above that the muffler seems to come alive with a deep agressive tone.

the muffler is full polished, with silver powder coated piping. the only thing i dislike about the muffler is the tip. it's huge! it almost fills the space in the rear bumper completely.

over all i couldn't beat the price i paid $150 for the full catback, and spare O2 sensor. ( got it off a friend who was switching to a dual muffler setup on his gsx.)
