To make a long story short, timing jumped and bent valves, so while in the process of fixing that problem I started an auto tranny to manuel swap. I then decided that I am going to build a big horsepower race engine. My question is should I go with buschur racing stage 3 short block and cylinder head, Magnus Motorsports stage 3 shortblock and stage 4 cylinder head, or slowboy racings stage 3 short block and cylinder head. The buschur say it can handle up to 700hp, Magnus claims 800hp and slowboy doesn't list it and never answered my e-mail. Basically I want to know that I am getting good work and not crap engine work. From what I have read in other forums Burchur Racing seems to be a good engine builder but I havn't heard much of the other 2. Any help would be great.

I cant say anything about buscher. But of course he has been around a very long time. So draw your own conclusions. But as for Magnus. They do very good work, and Marco seems like a really nice guy. If i had to choose. I would have Magnus built it.

I dont think you can go wrong with any of the three choices.. you might not take me up on this but before you make your decision hit up HighPsi91 with a PM or shoot him an email @ [email protected] with questions regarding building an engine for you.

Wes built my engine and I will stand behind him 100% as would everyone else he has ever done work for. Also he will do it ALOT cheaper then any of the shops you listed.

Dont give up on slowboy... he will get back to you, its just hes very busy. Mike is a great guy to deal with. I just got my motor from him today and it looks fantastic:thumb:
