Eliminate the 2nd O2 sensor

i want to put a test pipe on my car but there is the pesky little 02 sensor behind the cat.
without removal will the engine run right?
is the check engine light the only problem with the test pipe?
is there any way to remove it so the engine light stays off?

Unscrew it, ziptie it up, find something to screw in the hole and you're done. I hardly ever get a CE, like once every 6 months.

mine is screwed in with my test pipe in place and Ive never once had a CEL

Go to www.vfaq.com. On the site is a instructional on how to eleminate the second o2 sensor so that you will never get a check engine light.

I never got a CEL with my testpipe....At least not one related to the testpipe.

Mine tripped and I reset it and made the gasket at the test pipe leak and it hasn't come on since. I've done plenty of trips to race tracks and so forth its been a few months. Haven't seen a check engine light since.

I still have mine in place and got a CEL for the first time today, I think cause i was staying around 60 with no boost for awhile. I don't know exactly when it checks it but its really weird situations like this. I just reset it and hasn't come back since.

The Honda boys have something that simulates the second 02 sensor signal. Some "little black box" type deal. Me, I solved the problem by not owning a 2G DSM, I have a 1G instead. The only problem with that is I can't use my car to get laid because chicks don't like it. Thank goodness I'm so goodlooking.

i'm just gonna replace it, but first i am gonna go for a 1g bov cause i just built/installed a new iuc and cut the ac, and my 2g bov is raping all my newfound boost.

Caspers Electronics also has an O2 simulator thing that you splice (I think) into the rear O2 sensor wiring. I just put in my cat-less exhaust system, so if I start getting CELs, I might get this gadget.

I know this may sound getto but you can get rid of your CEL for good no matter what. Are you ready?! Clip the wire that goes to the CEL, and wa-la no more light. This is probley only a good idea if you have a pocketLOGGER so you can check to see if you have any.

a pocket logger will be a later purchase when the mods get out of control so for now the light remains...
