Does anyone know how to tell if a 92' 4 bolt rear is an LSD when it doesn't have the sticker on it? How would you make sure? Any help would be appreciated! Thanx!;)

The service manual test for checking the VCU might work if the driveshaft is disconnected. Turn one hub and see if the other turn in the same or other direction. The input needs to be free to turn for this to work otherwise your just seeing the diff in action not the VCU.

i don't think the '92 has an LSD unless someone installed one after the fact. Check vfaq.com It tells the model differences and when that stuff was introduced to the cars.

I remembered the little timeline thing wrong but here it is straight from vfaq.com

1990 - Inaugural year of the DSM, front brakes change during model year
1991 - Minor ECU changes, ABS introduced but without limited-slip diff (LSD)
1992 - Popup headlights eliminated, different rear end, ABS with LSD, 4 bolt rear axles
1993 - Larger front brakes for AWD models, internal engine changes
1994 - Almost the same as 1993, the last year of the 1G car
1995 - Significant body style changes, different turbo and engine setup marks the beginning of the 2G car
1996 - Almost the same as 1995, the inaugural year of the Spyder convertible (another pic here), ECU changes
1997 - Minor cosmetic changes, ECU changes
1998 - Almost the same as 1997, ECU changes

The rear VCU was still an option you had to order (or the dealer ordered). It didn't come on every GSX and I've never been clear that it was an option on the Chrysler badged AWD cars in '91. I didn't spend that much time researching them when I bought my Eclipse. They were less expensive at the time, some was due to differences in seat trim and such but some was due to options.
