many of u have probably heard of this but for those who havent here it is. find your boost control solenoid(passenger side frame rail on 2g) just follow the vacumm line that comes out of your wastegate. remove that line and take off your solenoid. when off: take a tiny screw and screw into the fitting on the solenoid then pull it out and youll notice a small rubber restrictor will come with it. reinstall everything and , (with an aftermarket boost guage) look at the diff. i was at 12 psi stock and after this 30 min mod im now at 14psi without a boost controller. hope this helps:thumb: :thumb:

Not to be a dick, but i gotta on this one... Dude this point you just told is about as dumb as the question "What are free mods"... Dude, man what your talking about the BCS restriction on 2g's i think ALL/EVERYONE/EVERYBODY, knows that...LOL... just my smart ass .02

Ok forget that mod, that's childs play. You want free boost? Here you go.

Take the screws off that hold your wastegate on and put a 1/4 inch washer behind the bracket of each screw so the bracket is farther away from the turbo than it used to be. This just makes the arm a little farther away from the turbo. That should give you 17psi or so. Just make sure you re-wire your fuel pump and your golden. I did this super ghettofabulous boost job on my old car and it was pimp.

Thats boost for free baby...

Why would you want to run 17 PSI on a T25 anyway. Anymore than 15-16 PSI you're just blowing hot air.

Anybody who would seriously do a totally ghetto ghey mod like that to their car wouldn't care if they were blowing hot air or not. Plus people with a 1G who read this could do it and it would work for them. My old car that I did that too was a 1G so it acctually made some serious power. My 2G has an HKS evc.

im thinking about taking out the boost restrictor tonight because of this thread, i was just wondering is it safe to do on a basically STOCK car? i have a boost guage and air/fuel ratio guage. I have a stock bov, but should i do it anyway?

I did the mod, and after I completed it and test drove the car it would die on me.

At around 80 mph, in 4th/5th, if I put the clutch to neutral, the rpm's drop and the car shuts off. Anyone help me with the troubleshooting?

Thanks,

Marty

aight i just took mine out, it was hard as &%*% cuz i couldnt remove my coolent reservior, and 2 i couldnt disconnect the electrical thing on the soleniod...........................it was hard LOL but i managed and didnt break anything im gonna go test run it and see wut happends

why are you worrying? btw I ran my T-25 HARD at 19 psi day in and day out and made more power than at 15psi with no probs. 14b is much better

Yeah really hot air at higher psi on T25 is still more air flowed, its bad possible detonating air is why its not exactly recomended. Mine would run at 19 psi in the cold and creep or fall a few psi depending on the weather or gas. It would run fine and only hit fuel cut at like 22 or higher (real bad psi for that turbo in hot air). But if you live in a cold climate or even winter right now where it stays around 40 degrees. 19 psi in the cold should really hurt much. just my .02:thumb:
